I had to go to the Urgent Care and then to the hospital emergency room yesterday afternoon. I had a pain in my left side that turned out to be colitis. I am back home in the van again taking it easy. They gave me pain medication and two kinds of antibiotics to help relieve the symptoms. The doctor said I should feel better in a couple of days. Then I have to do a follow up visit and more tests.
We had to cancel our plans for the Capital Tour and The Nats Baseball game. We also had reservations for a Segway Tour around the National Mall for tomorrow that I rescheduled for Tuesday.
The goods news is we were able to extend our stay at this campground and they have lots of amenities here. "The Anon Travelers" arrived here yesterday morning and are out sightseeing. They are staying here until Thursday like us.
I will hang out here again tomorrow and Judy will go sightseeing.
Had to look up the ailment & now am wondering whether you've had a recent colonoscopy? Article also suggested a possible dairy intolerance but I'm sure you've looked all this up yourself. Sending healing thoughts your way.
