Virginia

We made it to Virginia after our repair work was completed. We have not tested the repair yet so I will reserve judgement until we dump and we see if it leaks. We are staying in a Walmart parking lot tonight. This is only the second time on this trip we have stayed at a Walmart. We have been running our air conditioner most every night so we need shore power or we have to run the generator. Judy does not like the noise of the air conditioner, so running  the air conditioner and the generator both would be a no go. It is 8:30 pm and 63 degrees so we should be comfortable for the night.

  2. Hey! David Campbell here. Wytheville, Virginia is where Toni Atkins was born and raised. And I was born not far away in a town called Galax, after the Galax leaf. Check out the New River if you have the time. Beautiful river that runs south to north. Lots of camping along the river on both the North Carolina and Virginia side. My father was an environmental attorney who helped save the New River from 3 dams back in the late 60s, early 70s. I grew up in various houses along the River until we moved to Roanoke. My father always lived by the river. Have fun. Blue Ridge Parkway is beautiful too.
